An office phone system is your most important corporate investment. It is what helps your company maximize revenue & profitability - day in, day out.
Today's office phone systems are designed with on-board solutions that you do NOT pay extra for (this is a very important point to let sink in...)
Using an office phone system in house is the "lowest total cost" of ownership for any Canadian business.
Saving costs and maximizing revenue is a fundamental function in your company. Why settle for "pay per use" features and options that increase your over-all expenses?
An in-house office phone system is the best investment you can make to synergize your company's profitability over the long term. Instead of 'bleeding costs' - it helps generate revenue with-out taking away from office expenses during the life of your equipment.
Let's face it - contracts lock you into long term commitments. They are difficult to break and to do so - you have to pay hefty cancellation fees. You don't have to deal with that with an in-house office phone system! Don't like your phone line provider - change at any time! Use no cost features, add local or remote users at whim, with-out adding monthly 'per user' additional costs to your bottom line!

The less work you have to do, the better. Using a seamless and integrated system allows you to: handle calls, change uses & features whenever needed, and focus on what your business does best. The initial install should be done quickly and efficiently, with-out business interruption. Understanding the basics and ease of installation is the first step in buying a new office phone system.
The Basics: With IP-PBX telephone technology today - your office phone system is plugged into your network. Or, it can be set-up on it's own internal sub-network. Desk phones, cordless phones, and boardroom / conference room phones all connect to the main system box via the network. If using a sub-network design - the end-point devices connect directly to the phone system on it's own dedicated network. Today's office phone systems are also able to run on their own WiFi / Wireless network. This eliminates the need for costly wiring in your office.
Other integrated IP devices such as paging speakers, door intercoms and two-way overhead intercoms can also connect seamlessly with the phone system. These devices are all controlled, updated and maintained directly from the main system very quickly & efficiently.
Cost Savings Tip: A plug-and-play design can eliminate having someone come in to install for you. That's where we come in! We provide full pre-shipment set-up, and dedicated after sales support & assistance for all your telecommunications needs - including the network side set-up!
Here are some options on how your office phone system and end-point devices can all work together over your network. We have exampled both using your existing network, or running a dedicated sub-phone system network in your office. Un-pack devices. Plug them in, and you're up and running! The cost of having someone to come in and install can be eliminated (unless, you want to have us install for you).

NOTE: A sub-network phone system set-up is usually done for 'larger installations'. But, can be done for smaller ones as well.
WiFi end-points, such as office phones, cordless phones, boardroom conference phones and a few other devices can all be connected "wirelessly"! This give you the freedom to move desk and other users around the office when the need arises. Simply unplug a device, move it, and plug it back in where it is needed. No extra wiring or set-up required.

While there are other network set-up configurations available - these are the most common. You can also mix set-ups to get around some IT based limitations that can come up from time to time.
The great thing about these office phone systems - they can be expanded and grow as you need to. Choose from using VoIP Telephone Line Service (Internet lines) or use Analog Lines POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service).
Or, use a combination of both for fail-over and back-up calling options. Since these are Hybrid IP-PBX Phone Systems, you can pick and choose telephone line services to suit your needs. Even if you're using older analog lines with a 4 line system - these systems can be expanded later to add 4, 8, 16 or more lines at any time with a 'Phone Line Gateway' (fancy name for analog line expansion box).
An in-house IP-PBX keeps EVERYTHING secure and under your control. Full office phone systems have their own built in layered security - including:
Third party hosted phone solutions go off-site, outside your network and are programmed by "someone" not in your office. They do not have "full security built-in". It's one of the hidden dangers of "hosted phones'.
Think of this type of Office Phone System - as your own hosting solution. YOU are fully hosting your own extensions & users with-out outsourcing your services - eliminating expensive monthly 'per user' fees.
All features and options included - at NO extra cost!
